เมื่อเมืองโรเดนท์เทลต้องพบเจอกับภาวะความอดอยาก จากพายุหิมะอันโหดร้ายและยาวนานกว่าทุกปีที่ผ่านมา เหล่าสัตว์น้อยใหญ่ต่างเร่งรีบกักตุนผลผลิตให้มากเพียงพอต่อการรอดพ้นสถานการณ์อันยากลำบากนี้ ทางสมาคมพ่อค้าแห่งโรเดนท์เทลมองเห็นโอกาสจัดการแข่งขันภายในสมาคมผ่านการรวบรวมผลผลิตและส่งไปยังหมู่บ้านต่างๆ เพื่อกระตุ้นการซื้อขาย เร่งการกักตุนผลผลิต และสะสมเงินให้ได้มากที่สุด เพื่อกลายเป็นผู้ชนะในการแข่งขันครั้งนี้ พร้อมได้รับการขนานนามว่าเป็น ‘สุดยอดพ่อค้าผู้มั่งคั่งแห่งโรเดนท์เทล’ 
ใน Wagoner of the Rodentale ผู้เล่นจะได้สวมบทบาทเป็นสัตว์ฟันแทะต่างๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นกระรอก, คาปิบารา, แรคคูน, กระต่าย และหนู ซึ่งล้วนเป็นสมาชิกสมาคมพ่อค้าแห่งโรเดนท์เทล มาแข่งขันกันรวบรวมผลผลิตส่งไปให้ยังหมู่บ้านต่างๆ เพื่อสะสมเงิน และคว้าชัยชนะไปAs harsh blizzard descends upon Rodentale, colder and crueler than ever before, great famine also comes to its inhabitants. Creatures scurried to gather as many crops as they can to survive the crisis. Spotting the opportunity, the Merchant Guild of Rodentale held a competition where its members collect and deliver produce to villages in order to boost sales, help everyone stock up on food, and amass as many gold coins as they could to win and be given the title of THE MIGHTY MERCHANT OF RODENTALE!!
Wagoner of the Rodentale is a gateway family game for 2-5 players. The players are the representatives of the Rodentale’s Merchant Guild, who need to collect the most gold to become the one who triumphs in this game!
In each turn, the player must choose to spend their actions moving their character, collecting produce, delivering them to the villages, and collecting the most gold! The winner of this competition will be entitled to THE MIGHTY MERCHANT OF RODENTALE!!
